Preparation
- For the plum layer, put all the ingredients in a pan. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes until the liquid has reduced slightly and the plums are soft. Allow to cool completely before serving.
- Mix the mascarpone, quark cheese, sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Separately, whip the cream in a tall container until stiff and add it to the mascarpone mixture. Finely chop the chocolate balls into small pieces and add as well.
- Place the cantuccini in a freezer bag and crush with a rolling pin.
- Now pour the dessert in the glasses. To do this, first spread about 2 teaspoons of Cantuccini on the base. Then, fill the glasses with the mascarpone cream and strcciatella cream using either a teaspoon or a pastry bag. Add 1 tablespoon of red wine plums as a third layer. Repeat and finish with the red wine plums.
- The dessert can either be prepared in advance or enjoyed immediately. Garnish with some fresh mint before serving.
